it takes a lot to believe, a lot to believe in you it takes a lot to achieve, a lot to achieve truth well now I've been staring at the words on this page for my whole life cos I've been watching too much TV and it's giving me square eyes and I don't even know what I'm told and I don't believe anyone at all oh I'm post-truth and post-worth eternity is up the fires are burnt and I don't even know what I'm told when we were 13 we thought we could rob a bank waving our gun in the air like it's the only friend that we've ever had it takes a lot to believe, a lot to believe this is true but when the world is wrong I believe everything you do and I dream of ****** **** with nancy sinatra bodies trembling in the shadow of her father no perception of time, not feeling right but with nancy at my side everything is fine and I dream of the sand in her hair it's smooth and I stop cos her daddy's there he says what are you doing out here *inaudible shouts and grunts*

soak up the crimson and clover that surrounds you from the posters on the wall that have found you the cold water teases your legs like ailing jokes that never come to an end broken records and stale smoke but i'm in my little world and i ain't alone torchlight cut through the dark it ain't easy to be sorry when you're heart is hard and i wish that i could smell the flowers that overhang the brown of the brook and i wish that i could be your sunshine superman because i do it all by the book i might drop out... work on my fitness all my friends here tonight will be thrilled to witness my decline, my fall from grace but i'm still in my little world i wish that i could count the hours of the moments that pre-empt the end with a wall of feedback and a smile on my face this song has come to an end

if you look in your mind's eye then what would you see your reflection in the payphone or people in the street watch them laugh, watch them cry as breezeblocks fly watch the colours converge from grey to the billboard's eye cos I'm an animal or am I just a man and if you look in your mind's eye what would you see a guilty conscience or another racist dream we will dance, drink the wine until the clouds fall from the sky grab a TV and hurl it straight at that billboard's eye

about

This is the second release by Trip-Sit Records that marks the exposure of new Norwich 3 piece, Gladboy. It's a small collection of junkedelic live demos sneakily recorded over a period of 24 hours in Plug Studios using all of our own [Adam's] recording equipment; for the extortionate price of nothing, you can listen to it every single day of your life.

As heard on BBC Introducing Norfolk
